Restoration: Axiom Signage Installation

“It’s Starting to Feel Real”: Axiom’s logo in place atop Fire Station 6

Axiom’s new home got its own name displayed high upon the new building on Thursday, one more finishing touch completed as the company gets prepared to move to Washington Avenue and Sixth Ward.

“It’s starting to feel real,” said John Luu, Axiom’s art director who, with designer Rodney Flores, were on hand at 1702 Washington Ave. to record the construction crew’s work on the front façade of the new building. (Check out the video below) The lettering was designed with the same metallic materials as that of “Fire Station No. 6” on the original building.

Next month, Axiom will join its neighbors as the latest addition to the Washington Avenue Corridor Arts District. The excitement is beginning to increase as Tom Hair and his Axiom team are scheduled to move into their new offices starting Feb. 17.
